Communication technologies

Personalized means of communication

There are a number of ways to link your alarm system to our monitoring station, depending on what is available in your building, the level of security that you need and what is required under current regulations.

Landline (standard telephone line)

  • Sends alarms in priority when they occur.
  • Lets your system report to the central on a regular basis (to be determined).

IP/Wi-Fi Communicator

  • Uses your Internet cable or wireless network (or we will install one if needed) to send alarms.
  • Lets your alarm system confirm its operating status on a regular basis (24 hours).
  • The high-security version will emit a signal every 90 seconds. If it misses a communication cycle, an alarm will be detected by our monitoring station so we can notify you that your security is no longer optimal (for an additional fee).

Cellular line

  • Uses a dedicated cellular line provided by our services to send alarms.
  • Lets your system report to the monitoring station on a regular basis (to be determined).
  • The high-security version will emit a signal every 90 seconds. If it misses a communication cycle, an alarm will be detected by our monitoring station so we can notify you that your security is no longer ensured (for an additional fee).
  • This option is offered when no landline or Wi-Fi are available on-site.
